mission is to help women and their loved ones
make sense of the complex medical and personal
information about breast cancer, so they can make
the best decisions for their lives. Breastcancer.org
is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing
the most reliable, complete, and up-to-date information
about breast cancer.

The
Maurer Foundation’s mission is dedicated
to educating women of all ages about prevention
and early detection of breast cancer. Addressing
women at schools, in community organizations,
places of business and through the media, the
foundation’s up-to-date educational programs
are aimed at dispelling myths and allaying fears
about breast cancer while filling the knowledge
gap that exists about maintaining breast health.

Young
Survival Coalition is the only international,
non-profit network of breast cancer survivors
and supporters dedicated to the concerns and issues
that are unique to young women and breast cancer.
Through action, advocacy and awareness, the YSC
seeks to educate the medical, research, breast
cancer and legislative communities and to persuade
them to address breast cancer in women 40 and
under. The YSC also serves as a point of contact
for young women living with breast cancer.

Lee
Denim Day’s mission is to encourage millions
of people nationwide to slip into their favorite
jeans and make a $5 donation to support the fight
against breast cancer on one day in October. Through
the Women’s Cancer Programs of the Entertainment
Industry Foundation, Lee National Denim Day will
support groundbreaking early detection and treatment
research at leading cancer centers and provide community
breast cancer education services nationwide.

Healing Project’s mission is dedicated to
promoting the health and well-being of individuals
with life threatening illnesses and chronic diseases.
The Healing Project is developing resources to enhance
the quality of life of such individuals, their family
members, friends and other caregivers.

Sharsheret’s
mission is to provide culturally sensitive support
to young Jewish women who are newly diagnosed with
breast cancer as well as to those facing the risk
of developing breast cancer, and offers related
resources for Jewish communities and health care
organizations.
